"Ozgur worked closely with Teekay Petrojarl to assist the project with Dimensional Control and Survey work on module stools surveys, module installation tolerances, clash as-built analysis, risk reduction for lifting campaigns, access and egress surveys for human factors, as well hook-up and offshore installation independent verification surveys.
His technical knowledge is high and he showed a determination from day one to understand the shipyard processes and procedures to push for a solution based approach allowing him to progress his work effectively.

"Ozgur Unver has worked on the past three FPSOs, Topsides with me for the Peregrino, Knarr and Kraken.
He is very much a team player, and a strong but fair manager in managing his survey team on module clash checks prior to module installation onto the hull, identifying clashes, running reports and ensuring clashes removed prior to module lifting. This invaluable process ensures no cost or schedule impact to the project schedule when entering the hook-up phase.
He has also lead the survey team on pre-hook up surveys of piping spools from the modules to pipe rack and hull, this has saved many man hours on pre-fabrication of piping spools in the fabrication shops prior to fitting the spools on board, which after final survey in the fabrication shops when fitted on board 100% clash free installation, with no schedule impact on the integration schedule; cutting the time down by more than half of a conventional hook up philosophy.
Ozgur comes highly recommended by me and I would be happy to work with him in future projects and also recommend him to any future employer.

"Ozgur has worked as a Lead Dimensional Control surveyor on project Kraken. Its due to his due-diligence, conceptual thinking, pro-active efforts, hard-work and exemplary knowledge on subject underpinning the exact locations of hard clashes, installation clashes, probable clashes, errors in PDMS modelling to as-built, we could manage to have clean lifts for all modules and important skids.
It is very important to understand, providing DC control during construction phase in fact reduces over cost impact by enhancing schedule and last minute delays due to unknown installation clashes.

Under Ozgur's management, his team could accurately verify dimensions of various parts of our modules. Based on the measurements and his extremely precise and informative reports we could come up with engineering solutions to fix our challenging DC issues and installation clashes.

If one word to describe him, I choose ORGANIZED. As a Lead Surveyor in FPSO fabrication project, he has to control 2-3 dimensional control teams which are dealing with +/- 1mm accuracy. Every measurement, calculation, model and report has to be checked before final release to client. It takes a very organized person to control the process flow, the schedule and make sure the work done correctly.
